NIFTY & Packs

NIFTY is the in-game currency. It’s used for player prices (both treasury and peer-to-peer), contract renewals, and other in-game sinks.

NIFTY is an in-game balance, not a tradeable token. It lives in your account ledger, not your wallet. USDC remains the on-chain settlement rail.

How NIFTY is priced

Two conversion rates are relevant:

Holding real NIFTY is better than holding the same USDC value, because NIFTY you bought in packs was effectively bought at the 1.25M rate — it buys 25% more in-game than converting at the point of sale.

Earning NIFTY

• Winning matches and competitions
• Releasing players back to treasury
• Pack purchases (each pack comes with a NIFTY bonus)
• Occasional operator rewards

Spending NIFTY

When you buy a player (or renew a contract):

1. Real NIFTY burns first — the system takes from your DB balance.
2. Any shortfall converts from your USDC wallet at the base rate.
3. If the combined balance isn’t enough, the purchase is blocked.

This spend order is deliberate — it rewards holding NIFTY.

Packs

Packs contain random players. Higher-tier packs have better odds of rare pulls.

• Packs are priced in USDC.
• Buying a pack gives you the players and a NIFTY bonus at the pack rate.
• Seasonal or larger packs may offer better bonuses.

Your balance

Your effective NIFTY balance at any moment is:

real NIFTY (in your ledger) + (USDC in your wallet × 1,000,000)

This is the number the game uses to decide whether you can afford a purchase.

What NIFTY isn’t

• It is not an ERC-20 token (at this stage).
• It is not tradeable outside Nifty.
• It does not clear through your wallet for internal purchases — only your ledger balance is debited/credited. USDC still settles on-chain where needed (marketplace P2P, paid comp entry).

If NIFTY ever becomes an on-chain token later, the ledger is designed to migrate cleanly.
