Matches

How a match runs

  1. You create or join a competition (head-to-head challenge or cup).
  2. You save your squad and tactics in Team Management.
  3. At the team lock time, the system freezes your setup for this fixture.
  4. At the sim time, the match runs.
  5. The result and match report are published on the competition page and in your inbox.
  6. Leaderboards and your public club page update from the final result.

The match report

Every finished match gets a report covering:

  • Final score and key stats
  • Timeline of events (goals, cards, subs, chances)
  • Tactical summary
  • Narrative commentary

Ties

  • Head-to-head and cup fixtures produce a winner. If the score is level after regulation, penalties decide it.

What doesn’t happen live

Matches aren’t played live — they simulate at the scheduled sim time. You don’t need to be online. Check back after kick-off for the report.

Bots

Cups may fill empty slots with clearly-labelled bots so brackets complete. Bots use the same match engine as humans, and don’t affect paid-competition pots.
